Welcome to General de Lafayette NSDAR

Welcome to one of the oldest chapters of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR).  The General de Lafayette Chapter was chartered in 1894 by Georgia Stockton Hatcher, who went on to become Vice President General of the National Society prior to her untimely death in 1903.  The General de Lafayette Chapter received one of the first 100 national charters and was the first to organize in the state of Indiana in 1893.  The chapter received its official charter on April 21, 1894.  Our members invite you to explore the rich history of an organization that has thrived for 125 years.
